District Captain
Christian Leadership Role
About the Position
RBJ is expanding its county-level leadership network and is seeking former pastors from Christian, Bible-centered churches who demonstrate strong character, high availability, and the pastoral qualities described in 1 Timothy 3:1–7.
As a District Captain, you serve as the local shepherd of your assigned county. You are the direct leader of City Captains, the first line of support for RBJ employees, and the primary responder to resident (customer) concerns.
This role is designed for leaders who thrive in proximity-based oversight, hands-on problem solving, and daily interaction with the people they serve. Unlike Zone Coordinators who oversee multi-state territories, District Captains operate on the ground — ensuring compliance, accountability, and excellence at the city level.

Availability Matters
District Captains must be highly available to their City Captains, RBJ employees, and residents. After character alignment is confirmed, candidates will be asked the same three availability questions:
CAN you be available.
WILL you be available.
MAY you be available.
Your answers determine advancement.
Key Responsibilities
Local Leadership & Oversight
- Supervise and support City Captains within your district
- Ensure daily operational compliance with RBJ standards
- Provide hands-on leadership and problem resolution
Resident (Customer) Support
- Respond to escalated resident concerns
- Ensure customer satisfaction and service excellence
- Maintain a pastoral, service-oriented presence in the community
Employee Support & Accountability
- Mentor RBJ employees and reinforce performance expectations
- Recommend performance bonuses based on measurable criteria
- Maintain accurate reports, logs, and compliance documentation
Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure City Captains adhere to RBJ compliance standards
- Participate in Pastoral Council reviews and accountability sessions
- Report district performance, issues, and needs to your Zone Coordinator
- Attend required meetings, trainings, and leadership briefings
Operational Excellence
- Maintain route stability, customer retention, and service quality
- Support the growth and development of your district
- Uphold RBJ's mission, values, and biblical leadership model
Compensation
Minimum Qualifications
- Former pastor or ministry leader of a Christian, Bible-centered church
- Actively seeking employment
- Meets the character qualifications of 1 Timothy 3
- Demonstrates all Nine Idealist Traits
- Willing to reside within assigned district
- Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to train, mentor, and support City Captains
- High availability and commitment to RBJ's mission
