The Rollback Jack Story

Church For The Broken

A Business Born From a Ministry

Rollback Jack was born from a simple but powerful truth: value often hides in places people overlook. Just as Jacob prospered by taking the speckled and spotted livestock — assets Laban believed were insignificant — we saw opportunity in something most communities ignore every week: the humble trash bin.

For generations, the story of Jacob has illustrated how wisdom, obedience, and resourcefulness can transform what others dismiss into lasting abundance. That same spirit guides Rollback Jack. We take on the forgotten task of rolling trash bins to the curb and cleaning them, turning an everyday inconvenience into a service that brings order, sanitation, and reliability to neighborhoods, churches, and cities.

Our journey began in a moment of need. After a storm — and a neighbor's fallen tree — destroyed our church roof, our small congregation stepped forward with determination. Under the leadership of our pastor, we committed to raising the funds necessary to rebuild. Rollback Jack became both a mission and a marketplace solution: a way to serve our community while creating sustainable revenue to restore what was lost.

But what started as one church's answer to one crisis has grown into something far larger. We looked at the first five chapters of Acts — the early church moving in unity, having all things common, the Holy Spirit falling in chapter 3 and revival breaking out across entire cities — and we asked: what would it look like if the church stopped talking about that and started doing it again?

Galatians 5:17 describes the works of the flesh — the divisive nature of everything that tears communities apart. Verse 22 describes the fruit of the Spirit. And verse 23 says something that stopped us cold: there is no law against these things. There is no law against unity. No ordinance against love. No regulation against the church coming together to serve its city. RBJ is our campaign to prove it.

We turn overlooked needs into meaningful impact.

We turn forgotten tasks into dependable service.

We turn small beginnings into community transformation.

This is Rollback Jack.

Jacob among the speckled and spotted flock — the biblical inspiration behind Rollback Jack

Community Care — Done Right

RBJ's bin washing and rollback service is a tangible act of neighborhood care — exactly the kind of visible, practical ministry that builds trust and opens doors. The best-run territories become the most trusted names in their cities.

Dignity of Work — Excellence Expected

Church members, youth groups, and men's ministries become the workforce — not volunteers, but paid team members with real wages, a clear career path, and a standard of excellence that reflects the mission behind the movement.

Financial Resilience — Built to Last

A church-owned RBJ territory generates recurring monthly revenue — a sustainable engine that strengthens the church's ability to do ministry without financial strain. After all bills are paid, the CC council's share of net profit starts at 50% and grows to 65% based on sales team performance, split equally among up to 5 member churches. The best-run territories grow year over year.

Outreach & Visibility — The Best Presence in the Neighborhood

An RBJ service truck rolling through the neighborhood every week — operated by your ministry, staffed by your people — is the most consistent community presence most churches have never had. Excellence in service is the best advertisement.

The C4TB Strategy

What We're Building Together — At the Highest Level

The C4TB initiative is RBJ's formal strategy for partnering with local churches as territory owners. A church that holds an RBJ City Captain position owns a revenue-generating community service operation — one that employs its members, serves its neighbors, and funds its ministry without depending on tithes alone. The standard for every participant is the same: be the best in your role.

How It Works

Church as Owner. Workers as Excellence. RBJ as Backbone.

The governance model is designed to fit how churches already operate — and to demand the best from every participant. The church holds the territory and owns the operation. The workers — Jacks and Sales Reps — are expected to be the best in their field. RBJ handles compliance, training, and the municipal interface, committed to being the best franchise system any of them will ever work with.

Church

Territory Owner

Holds the City Captain position, owns the revenue rights, and directs the operation as an extension of ministry. The standard: be the best steward of the territory.

RBJ

Operational Backbone

Provides training, compliance, municipal interface, equipment, and the full operational system. The church doesn't build from scratch — it steps into the best franchise structure in the nation.

Workers

Excellence in the Field

Church members, youth, and community hires operate under church headship — employed, trained, and held to the highest standard of service. The best Jacks and Sales Reps in the city wear the RBJ uniform.

The Case for Church Ownership

Why Churches Are the Right Owners — and Why Excellence Is the Standard

Built-in Workforce — Already the Best Candidates

Members, youth groups, and men's ministries create a natural labor pool — people who already trust the leadership, already understand accountability, and already want to contribute to something bigger than a paycheck.

High Trust Environment — Excellence Is Expected

Churches already have governance, accountability structures, and moral expectations. Workers are not just accountable to a manager — they are accountable to a moral authority that demands their best.

Community Credibility — The Best Brand in the Neighborhood

A church-owned sanitation service is seen as benevolent, not predatory. It opens doors that a corporate brand never could — because the community already trusts the church behind it.

Mission Alignment — Excellence Serves the Calling

Serving the community is what churches are already called to do. RBJ gives that calling a sustainable, revenue-generating form — and raises the standard for what 'serving the community' can actually look like.

Financial Diversification

Churches increasingly need non-tithe revenue. A City Captain territory generates $40,000–$64,000+/month at full ramp — reinvested into ministry.

Multi-Site Potential — Scale the Excellence

Denominations can replicate the model across campuses — one church per city, each operating independently under the same RBJ structure. The best-performing territories become the blueprint for the next.

How to Get Started

The Strategic Pathway for Churches

01

Frame It as Ministry

RBJ is a community sanitation ministry — a dignity-of-work program and neighborhood care initiative that happens to generate revenue. That framing matters to church boards, and it's accurate.

02

Present the Governance Model

Show the board exactly how it works: the church owns the territory, RBJ handles compliance and training, workers operate under church headship, and liability is contained and insured.

03

Walk Through the Turnkey Package

Churches say yes when the lift is light. RBJ provides a pre-built launch plan, worker onboarding, marketing templates, and a 90-day operational roadmap. The church steps in — it doesn't build from zero.

04

Show the Financial Model in Ministry Terms

Not "profit" — sustainable revenue for ministry expansion. Financial resilience. A community reinvestment engine. The numbers are compelling; the language must match the mission.

05

Start with Entrepreneurial Churches

Churches that already run daycares, schools, thrift stores, food pantries, or transportation ministries are already entrepreneurial. They understand operations. Start there.

One Territory. One Council. One Mission.

No Competition Between Ministries

Every church that partners with RBJ operates within a collaborative pastoral council — not competing for the same territory, but working together to serve the whole city. The City Captain position belongs to the council, not to any single congregation. Your community, your culture, your calling — united under one mission.

Collaborative Territory Rights

The CC council's share of net profit starts at 50% and grows to 65% based on sales team performance, split equally among up to 5 member churches — maximum 5 per council. Each church also receives a one-time onboarding payout when the partnership activates. Youth groups market the service through flyers and word of mouth; no labor or operations required from the congregation.

Your Ministry, Your Identity

The operation carries the council's name and the community's values. RBJ is the system — the church is the soul.

Unique Strengths, Shared Structure

Every church brings something different — a neighborhood, a demographic, a culture. That uniqueness is a feature, not a problem. The RBJ structure adapts to it.

The RBJ Unity Movement Manifesto

A National Call for Pastors, Churches, and Communities to Stand Together as One

The Biblical Mandate for Unity

The Rollback Jack Unity Movement is built on the foundation laid in the Book of Acts, where the early church walked in supernatural unity — they had all things common, they moved as one body, the Holy Spirit empowered their work, revival broke out in the streets, and cities were transformed. Unity was not an idea — it was a lifestyle, a structure, and a testimony.

Galatians 5 shows us the contrast: the works of the flesh divide, the fruit of the Spirit unites. And Scripture declares: "Against such there is no law." There is no law against unity, no barrier to collaboration, no restriction on working together for the good of the city.

RBJ exists to restore that unity — not symbolically, but functionally, with fiscal evidence that God's people can work together to change their communities.

The Mission: Take Cities Back Through Unity

RBJ is a national movement designed to unite pastors, mobilize churches, empower communities, strengthen crisis ministries, address homelessness, activate youth and seniors, demonstrate measurable economic impact, and restore the church's influence in every city. This is not a marketing program. This is a Kingdom collaboration system — the first ministry model that proves unity is not only spiritual, but operational, financial, and transformational.

City Captains

Not one church — the city's pastoral council, united as one leadership body. The pastoral council nominates the director of the city's leading crisis ministry as the active City Captain — the person already running the shelter, food bank, transitional housing program, or community outreach organization. That director has the community's trust and knows where the revenue needs to go. The council reviews the nomination annually. Every church benefits from the territory revenue regardless of who holds the seat — Primary Members receive a direct share; Secondary Members participate in all fund decisions and are reviewed for elevation every 2 years. After all bills are paid, the CC council's net profit share starts at 50% and grows to 65% based on sales performance — of that share, 80% flows to Primary Member churches and 20% to named crisis ministries.

District Captains

Hired by the State Sponsor to lead a county. No entry fee. The DC calls the meetings that form the CC structure in each city and develops those City Captains as the county grows. DC salary capped at $150k/year.

State Sponsors

Representatives from every participating county, collaborating to promote RBJ statewide.

Zone Coordinators

Regional leaders who host and coordinate state-level unity meetings. ZC stipend begins at 3% of monies raised, capped at $200k/year. Council can vote raises over time.

The Declaration

Unity is our message

Collaboration is our method

Cities are our mission field

Pastors are our captains

Communities are our responsibility

Crisis ministries are our priority

Homelessness is our challenge

Rollback Jack is our vehicle

And Christ is our King

This is the RBJ Unity Movement. This is how we take cities back. This is how we transform America — together.
