How to Get Started with RBJ

If you are interested in working with RBJ, fill out an application for your position. City Captain applications are submitted on behalf of the pastoral council β€” the council as a whole is the applicant. All other positions are individual. Upon successful completion of training and the interview process, a contract will be issued.

Start Your Application
01

Fill Out an Application

Select the position that fits your goals and complete the RBJ application. Your application timestamp is recorded the moment you submit β€” this is the date and time that establishes your place in line for your territory.

02

Complete 3-Session Training

Every applicant β€” regardless of position β€” must complete a mandatory 3-session training program before a contract is issued. Training is part of the interview process. RBJ uses this period to learn about the applicant, their plans, and their commitment level. For City Captain applications, the pastoral council completes training together in one structured meeting β€” all three sessions can be conducted in a single sitting. Failure to complete training or meet RBJ's standards may result in refusal of partnership.

03

Interview with an Onboarding Specialist

A member of our onboarding team will reach out to schedule an interview. For City Captain applications, this interview is conducted with the pastoral council's designated representative. The council's territory is held during this process β€” no other applicant can claim that city while the application is active and in good standing.

04

Receive & Sign Your Contract

Upon successful completion of training and the interview, the official position contract will be issued for review and signature. City Captain contracts are issued to the pastoral council as the contracting entity. All contracts are position-specific and include the territory, investment terms, revenue rights, and the recorded application date.

Mandatory for All Positions

3-Session Training Is Required Before Any Contract Is Issued

Every person who applies to join RBJ β€” at any level, investment or leadership β€” must complete a mandatory 3-session training program. This is not optional and cannot be waived. Training begins after the application is accepted and runs concurrently with the interview process. For City Captain applications, the pastoral council completes all three sessions together β€” this can be done in one structured council meeting. The three sessions exist to give both parties β€” RBJ and the applicant β€” the time and information needed to make a sound decision about this mutual enterprise.

Session 1 β€” RBJ Overview & Territory Orientation

Introduction to the RBJ business model, City Captain structure, territory boundaries, and service offerings. Covers rollback and bin-washing operations, pricing, and customer acquisition basics. For pastoral councils, this session is conducted with the full council present.

Session 2 β€” Field Operations & Sales Standards

Hands-on review of field rep duties, route management, equipment handling, and door-to-door canvassing protocol. Sales scripts, objection handling, and HOA presentation strategy are covered in full. Pastoral councils review how their serving City Captain will oversee these operations.

Session 3 β€” Compliance, Contracts & Final Evaluation

Review of RBJ standards, territory agreement terms, revenue structure, and compliance requirements. Final evaluation by the onboarding specialist. For City Captain applications, the council representative is evaluated on behalf of the full council. RBJ reserves the right to refuse partnership to any applicant who does not meet our standards.

Territory Held During Training

The application timestamp and territory hold remain active throughout the training period. No one can claim the territory while the applicant is actively engaged in training and in good standing. For City Captain applications, the hold covers the entire council's city.

$1 Non-Refundable Verification Fee

Upon successful completion of training, all investment applicants are required to submit a non-refundable $1.00 fee from the same account from which the full investment will be received. This step is required before any contract is issued. Its sole purpose is to confirm that all funding channels are operational and that the designated account is active and accessible. This fee is not a deposit β€” it is a verification step and is non-refundable under all circumstances.

No contract will be issued and no investment will be accepted until training is successfully completed and the $1 verification fee has been received from the designated funding account. All three sessions must be completed β€” pastoral councils may complete all sessions in a single meeting.

Partnership Terms & Conditions

Important Legal Terms β€” Required Reading for All Applicants

1

Definition of "Territory"

The use of the word "territory" throughout RBJ's materials, agreements, and communications refers exclusively to RBJ's commitment to honor defined geographic boundaries by not assigning the same territory to any other applicant or partner. It does not imply, suggest, or confer any ownership of, access to, or rights over any land, real property, or physical space within those boundaries. Territory rights are operational designations only.

2

Dispute Resolution β€” Internal First

Any dispute over territories, boundaries, or positions between partners within the RBJ company structure must be brought to RBJ first before any legal action is initiated. RBJ will make a good-faith effort to find an acceptable resolution. If RBJ is unable to resolve the dispute to the satisfaction of the parties involved, RBJ will initiate and lead the resolution procedures as a company.

3

Arbitration Requirement

In any dispute that involves RBJ's own company processes or protocols β€” including but not limited to territory assignments, contract terms, revenue structures, or operational decisions β€” RBJ requires binding arbitration as the exclusive means of settlement. Litigation in any court is expressly waived for such disputes. Agreement to arbitration is a non-negotiable condition of partnership at any level within RBJ.

4

Acknowledgment Required

By submitting an application and proceeding through the onboarding process, each applicant β€” individual or pastoral council β€” acknowledges and agrees to all terms stated on this page β€” including the territory definition, the internal dispute resolution requirement, and the mandatory arbitration clause. These terms are binding from the moment of application submission.

Jurisdictional Record

Your Application Date Is Your Legal Timestamp

The moment you submit your application, RBJ records your exact date and time. This timestamp is jurisdictionally significant β€” it establishes your priority claim to your requested territory and your position in the hierarchy relative to anyone who applies after you.

Timestamp Recorded on Submission

Your application date and time are logged the instant you submit. This is the record that determines your seniority over any applicant who submits after you for the same territory or position.

Position Held During the Process

Once an application is active and in good standing, the position cannot be reassigned to another applicant. No one can take the territory while the applicant is actively moving through the onboarding process. For City Captain applications, the city is held for the pastoral council as the contracting entity.

Suspension Before Reassignment

If an applicant fails to complete the process or becomes ineligible, their position is suspended β€” not immediately reassigned. RBJ holds the territory in suspension until there is full clarity that the initial applicant is ineligible or no longer interested. Only then is the position made available again.

Once Taken, a Position Cannot Be Reassigned

A fully executed position β€” one where the contract has been signed and the investment completed β€” cannot be reassigned under any circumstance. That territory belongs to its owner for the life of the agreement.

This is why timing matters. Two applicants can want the same city. The one who submits first holds the timestamp. The one who waits may find the position suspended or taken.

How Authority Works in RBJ

RBJ operates on a structured chain of authority β€” Zone Coordinators hire and train District Captains across their zone, State Sponsors direct District Captains within their claimed counties, and District Captains direct City Captains. Each position carries real operational control over the level below it. However, positions are attainable at any level before the position above is filled β€” and those who secure their spot early are grandfathered from certain (not all) controls of whoever later fills in above them. The earlier you move, the more protected your position.

Grandfather Protection

If you secure a position before the level above yours is filled in your territory, your original territory rights, revenue structure, and operational terms are protected. A later arrival above you cannot override what was already agreed β€” only certain administrative controls apply.

The RBJ Standard

Every Partnership Is a Championship Team Waiting for the Season to Begin.

RBJ and the applicant take the time and gather the information needed to make a sound decision about this mutual enterprise. At RBJ we focus on teamwork. We don't need team members who are constantly honoring their right to disagree. All members of every team are on the same page, in the same mindset, and focused on honoring our agreement to persevere through all adversity β€” being faithful and mindful of how important the little things are. This makes all our teams champions.

Mutual commitment. Shared standard. One direction.
